Precinct 3 Bus Program

Launched in 1989 with just one 15-passenger van, Precinct 3's Bus Program has grown into a fleet of 19 buses. It now offers free transportation for senior organizations and community groups to explore Harris County and beyond.

Senior Bus Trips

  • Commissioner Tom S. Ramsey offers day trips for Precinct 3 residents aged 50 and older.
  • Buses are wheelchair accessible and mobility friendly.
  • Itineraries are provided at the time of boarding.
  • A minimum of 10 participants is required for each trip.

Bus Trip Reservations

Precinct 3 accepts group trip reservations for organizations serving adults 50+, including churches, assisted-living communities, and social clubs.

Reservations are open through December 2026, with January – June 2027 spots available starting October 13, 2026.
